Built in 1925, this art deco/art moderne building has been hailed by theLondon Daily Express as “One of the three most beautiful public utility buildings in the world.” These 8-feet tall figures represent Power, Light and Heat. For decades this building stood as the only high-rise in the northwestern portion of downtown Birmingham.
